Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026. This policy describes how CrikIQ collects, uses, secures, and discloses personal data across web, mobile, APIs, and operational systems. Contact: support@crikiq.com.

1. Data controller and scope

CrikIQ acts as the data controller for account, billing, support, analytics, advertising, and product data. This policy covers guest browsing, email and social sign-in, passkeys, CrikIQ Pro subscriptions, AI Copilot, Google AdMob and AdSense advertising, Community marketplace, live scoring, YouTube streaming, fantasy, Moments, team chat, and push notifications.

2. Categories of personal data

We process identifiers (name, email, account id, device id), usage telemetry, Copilot prompts, fantasy teams, scoring actions, support messages, subscription metadata from Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or Stripe, marketplace listings and chat, photos and audio when you grant permissions, and push tokens.

3. Lawful basis and purpose

Processing is based on contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), and consent where required for marketing, advertising personalization, and certain notification categories.

4. Third-party processors

We use Apple, Google, Meta, RevenueCat, Stripe, Anthropic (AI Copilot), SportMonks (licensed cricket data), and cloud infrastructure providers under contracts with least-privilege access.

5. Advertising and AI

Free users may see Google ads on web and AdMob on mobile. Pro subscribers are generally ad-exempt. AI Copilot sends your messages and limited cricket context to Anthropic — do not submit passwords or payment details in chat.

6. Retention and your rights

We retain data only as long as needed for service delivery, security, tax, and dispute resolution. Depending on jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection via Support or support@crikiq.com. Delete your account from Profile → Delete Account.

7. India (DPDP Act 2023)

If you are in India, CrikIQ acts as Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Grievance officer: support@crikiq.com — we acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
